Come out for Birds and Beasts Pet Shop bi-annual Pet Club Sale this weekend. Helping Paws will be there with some adoptable dogs from 10am to 2pm. We will also have info about our upcoming events and opportunities to volunteer.

Helping Paws volunteers will be outside of Walmart handing out the shelter Wish List. The items listed are supplies that we use or need on a regular basis to operate the shelter and care for and feed our animals. Help us stuff our van with shelter supplies by purchasing an item off of the Wish List and donating it to us!

Helping Paws is excited to be the benefactor during the Prairie State Classic Horse Show! Celebrating their 25th anniversary, they will be hosting a "Ride for the Paws" stick horse class on June 2 at 12pm. All children are welcome and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the animals at Helping Paws! So bring your kids and get there early to get your stick horse and learn how to "show your horse"! Grab your yoga mat, water and get ready to relax and unwind with the cats at Helping Paws. This class is being instructed by Kate Halma, a certified Iyengar yoga instructor since 2003.
