Join us for the 12th annual Panting for Paws 5K and 1 Mile Family Walk/Run at Lippold Park in Crystal Lake on Saturday, November 10, 2018. That’s right we have moved the date of the event from Sunday to Saturday, to allow more people to participate! This event is for runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels who want to raise money to help homeless animals!
Feeling competitive? The 5K is for runners and walkers. Your race will be timed (CARA certified). For the 5K race, medals and prizes will be awarded to top female and top male runner. Medals will also be awarded to the top three female and top three male finishers in the 5K in the following age categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79, 80 & over.
Participants can register individually or form a team. A fundraising page can also be created to help raise even more for the animals at Helping Paws.
Don’t feel like running a 5K? Sign-up for the 1 Mile Family Walk/Run an untimed event where you enjoy all the awesome perks including a long sleeve performance shirt and your dog can participate too! There is no cost for dogs. NOTE: Well-behaved and socialized dogs who are 6 months and older are welcome to participate. Dogs MUST be on leash (no longer than 6′) at all times during this event and while at Lippold Park.
Everyone is welcome to enjoy the “After Pawty” with free (21+), hot dog lunch and music. Not to mention lots of other snacks and light refreshments.
Included for each competitor is:
