It’s time for art and animal lovers to start bidding on this year’s Art for the Paws mini-masterpieces! Art for the Paws is a fundraiser and community outreach project to raise awareness for the arts while benefiting Helping Paws Animal Shelter.
Individuals of all ages and artistic abilities created works of art again this year using any medium they desired, ranging from oils and watercolor to photography, mixed media, ceramics, and more. The art encompasses a variety of subjects including animals, florals, landscapes, abstract visions and local landmarks.
The online auction begins on Saturday, March 31 and will continue through Saturday, April 21 until 9pm at: https://www.bitdo.artforthepaws2018  Bids start at just $25 for each piece of art and 100% of the proceeds benefits the animals at Helping Paws. If you’d like to see the art in person, stop by any of these locations:

All of the canvases will come together to form a giant mosaic as the event concludes with the Art for the Paws reception on April 21 from 7 to 9 pm at Mixin Mingle, 124 Cass Street, Woodstock. The reception is open to the public with a $5 admission. Light appetizers and beverages will be served. Please come out to view and enjoy the colorful mosaic of unique art created by our community, meet local artists, and learn more about Helping Paws.
